The Christmas Season

Christmas is right around the corner and so I thought I would share this photo from last December at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN.

This past week has been very busy. I had my final exams on Monday and Tuesday evenings. On Wednesday night there was a dress rehearsal for the choir at Faith Pres. singing the Messiah in which I was involved. Then Thursday night was the actual performance. I thought it went very well and Lindsey sounded angelic on her solo. So, a busy week is now over and I get to rest and I have no homework or studying to do!!

At this time in one week Lindsey and I will be driving to Oklahoma for Christmas. I am really excited about taking a week's vacation which I have not had since January. May we have safe travelling and the same for you.

Calendar

In my blog I am hoping to include a lot of photos that I have taken so I'll start with this one. I took this picture of some guys in Phi Mu Alpha, the music fraternity at Samford in which I am an alumnus, to be part of a calendar. I love black and white photography and thought this mafia style picture looked sweet without color. Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in fine art, I now work in administration and accounting at a manufacturing company. So I try to find time to be creative with art on the side. I am taking night classes to get a MBA concentrating in finance so a career in some kind of finance is what I am pursuing. I hope to use this blog as an outlet for my creative side and so I will probably post a photo with every post.
